最近好像燒了幾台Corolla GR，其中一個苦主就是這台
還有一台只是開在路上無緣無故就發爐

另外一台是在低速下被後面卡車追撞後起火
三者都是從引擎室開始燒，Toyota都拒絕保固
前面兩台開在路上自燃都發現缸體上有洞 (官方回覆)
影片中這台開到一半發爐的車主，收到Toyota不予以保固的敘述:
The owner's manual warns not drive [sic] in excess of the speed limit. Even
if the legal speed limit permits it, do not drive over 85 mph unless your
vehicle has high-speed capability tires. Driving over 85 mph may result in
tire failure, loss of control and possible injury. Be sure to consult a tire
dealer to determine whether the tires on your vehicle are high-speed
capability tires or not before driving at such speeds. Based on our
inspection findings and the facts relating to this incident, we cannot
provide any assistance in this matter.
大意就是，車主手冊說你不要超過85mph時速，除非你車上是街跑胎
假如超過85mph那就可能造成輪胎損壞並發生失控、故障等等問題
所以車主被回傳的車速紀錄超速 (114mph)，讓Toyota說不對發爐保固
另外一台開在138發爐的那台
In response to your concerns, a vehicle inspection was conducted on June 6,
2024....The odometer reading at the last service visit was 8,146 miles. The
vehicle was severely burned. A possible hole in the engine block was observed
on the front side, near the rear of the engine. No data could be recovered
from the vehicle due to the amount of extensive burn damage. Based on the
inspection findings, the cause of the fire could not be determined.
Therefore, we are unable to offer any assistance.
大意是我們發現缸體上有洞，但你燒得太徹底了，我們無法確認起火原因
所以沒辦法給你出保固
目前因為回覆的Toyota律師好像都是同一個，有人發現可能是複製貼上
所以到底發爐的原因為和沒人知道
但都是新車、而且還是掛正GR的Toyota車款
只是因為超速就不給保固就算，而且都是開在路上自燃
BTW 其中一位車主聽說無法打開門，必須從窗戶爬出來
不過還好不是電車，不然就.....
