For all of Stephen Curry’s accolades, the Golden State Warriors superstar still
doesn’t have an NBA Finals MVP. Andre Iguodala won the award in 2015, and then
Kevin Durant won in 2017 and 2018. While Durant winning was not controversial a
nd is still not, there’s a growing belief that Curry was robbed when Iguodala w
on in 2015.

he gets criticized for not having one, but he also doesn’t think the wrong deci
sion was made when he got the award. The Warriors veteran opened up on this in a
n interview with The Athletic’s Sam Amick:

a disservice to the game,” but he insists the media didn’t make the wrong dec
ision in 2015 and that he’s not bothered by people being critical of his award.
While it’s pretty crazy that Curry didn’t even get a single vote that year (h
e averaged 26/6/5), Iguodala was at least deserving of his win thanks to how he
changed the series.
