Warriors Owner Claps Back at ‘Ridiculous’ Narrative

After the Warriors overcame a woeful shooting effort to win Game 5, ESPN’s Br
ian Windhorst called it a “checkbook win.” And there are fans, pundits and T
witter trolls out there who are chiding Golden State for buying their latest c
hip.

“Oh, come on,” Lacob told The Athletic after his team’s title-clinching win
. “That’s a joke; I think it’s ridiculous. All of our players are guys that
we drafted or minimum signings except for one [Wiggins] trade. One trade andn
o free agent beyond the minimum. How can you say we bought the title? It’s cr
azy.”
奪冠後，勇士老闆Joe Lacob回應了這種說法：

’re able to spend a little more. There’s no doubt about that. But we wouldn
’t do it if we didn’t think we had a chance to win.”
我猜很多球隊不能也不會這樣做，因為我們在業務方面做得很棒，我們能高效產出價值並
