According to Lacob, he never doubted his core team, even when others wanted them
to pick up a superstar in the 2021 NBA Offseason.

“They were doubted,” he said, all quotes per The Athletic. “We believed in th
at core. Not many teams have a core four…I know some people thought we could’v

ese young guys to be developed and learn from these guys. They have learned. We
are going to be even better as a result of that in the years going forward.”

Lacob explained the importance that Andrew Wiggins had as the fourth member of t
he Warriors’ core.

perhaps the best culture,” Lacob said, referencing Wiggins’ time with the Minn

lly, really great.”
