"There is a chance," Durant said on The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis.
"My thing has always been like, I wanna still be on this level that I'm
playing when that time comes around. Don't give me that OG [role], 'Just come
to be one of the guys, and we need your presence now.'
"I wanna be counted on to play minutes," he added. "You need me to knock down
shots to help the team type s**t. So, if I'm up to that level and I'm still
hooping at that level, I expect myself to be there. I'd definitely love to be
a part of that, especially [Olympics] being in LA."
Durant claimed gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics, surpassing Carmelo Anthony to
become the all-time leading scorer in U.S. Olympic history. Currently 36
years old, he will be 39 when the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics take place.
