Green, who was drafted by the Warriors franchise in 2012, didn't hold back when
he got the opportunity to talk about his impact on the organization for the past
decade. In his recent podcast episode, the 4-time NBA All-Star implied that he'
s one of the biggest reasons why the team built a winning culture in the first p
lace and a golden dynasty that will always be considered one of the greatest not
just in the NBA but also in sports history.

if you weren't on the Warriors.' Yes, success is predicated on the Warriors and
it's funny to me because the Warriors didn't have success before I got here,” G
reen on the lastest episode of his podcast. “I didn't go to the Los Angeles Lak
ers or Boston Celtics or somewhere that has had success. Before I got to the War
riors, they were winning 23 games a year so I always laugh at that notion…,” G
reen added.

In fairness to Green, he does deserve a lot of credit for playing a perennial ro
le on the court in turning the Golden State Warriors franchise around. When the
Warriors won their first 3 championships, he was called the team's heart and sou
l because of his leadership, grit, and ability to get the best out of his teamma
tes.
